After many requests for a description of tizitzit, and the making of tizitzit, it was felt that the best way was a picture. This picture represents the way chosen to comply with the commandment in Bamidbar-Numbers 15:37. The commandment to wear these was for Yisrael and so that you, they would remember the Torah-Instructions. In no place does it give specific details on their making other than the adding of the blue string-tchaylet. Judah has chosen to make tizitzit with a complexity and length that is not called for in scripture.

Tizitzit-tassels need to be a part of apparel in today’s world. The foundation for this is found in the scriptures. Yahshua the Moshiach-Messiah in Matthew 23:5 was critical of the Pharisees, on three things; All their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. Translating this verse accurately we see that, the word phylacteries in the Greek 5440, means a guard case and Greek 3170 to make great, Greek 2899 kraspedon specifically the fringes or tassels or border, hem. They were making them out of proportion to necessity, which Yahshua pointed out as improper boasting.

The following scriptures all use the Greek word kraspedon and followed by the Greek word himation, #G2440: Matthew 9:20, 14:36, Mark 6:56, Luke 8:44. This Means the garment is worn with the tassel-tizitzit on the hem or border. The commandment to wear these tassels, was for the individual so that we would look upon them and remember YHVH’s Torah-Instruction, therefore it is only for you the wearer to comply with these instructions. Today’s clothing presents challenges in wearing locations for individuals. A good choice for men would be the belt loops or a belt and the same for women.
